CEMAL METİN BULUTOĞLULARI

Cemal Metin Bulutoğluları was born in Nicosia on the 2nd of September 1960. He lived his childhood in Ortaköy Marmara neighbourhood and graduated from the Nicosia Turkish Lycée in 1979. He graduated from Eastham College of Technology in England where he went for higher education and turned back to Cyprus after working two years for an electronics company.

He established a company named SERCEM in 1985, combining the first syllables of their first names with his wife Servet Bulutoğluları. He developed his business with his successful work in Sercem Ltd. and formed the SERCEM GROUP by establishing five more companies in different sectors. Today 750 people work under this group for a total of six companies.

Cemal Metin Bulutoğluları successfully realized many infrastructure projects of our country in his business life. Renewal of Ercan Airport runway, Nicosia Kyrenia motorway, city roads of various municipalities, campus roads of Near East University and Eastern Mediterranean University, car park of Eastern Mediterranean University, many green areas, roads of Metehan and Aknar checkpoints, tartan runway of Atatürk Stadium are some examples. Many buildings subject to public tenders and about 1000 houses built recently intended for our public and tourists in both Kyrenia and Nicosia are works our country gained thanks to Cemal Metin Bulutoğluları.

Cemal Metin Bulutoğluları, introduced a new business area in our country with the light insulated construction material factory, Bloc Bims and acted as a pioneer in bringing this new technology to Cyprus.  

Cemal Metin Bulutoğluları, accomplished active tasks in the social arena; participated in foundation of the Association of Contractors and preparation of the Law of Contractors. After being a member of the Administration Committee of the Association of Contractors, he became member of the Cyprus Turkish Construction Council by the decision of Council of Ministers. He still keeps the same position.  

Took part in the executive committee of Çetinkaya Sports Club between 1995 – 1997, and was the president of the club between 1997 – 2005. Çetinkaya Sports Club became a legend during his presidency, winning 5 league and 2 cup championships. Brought in the Taksim Field within the buffer zone to Çetinkaya Sports Club and renewed the 50 year old historic Çetinkaya building by all means. Also contributed to many other sports clubs to construct their own football and exercise fields. Cemal Metin Bulutoğluları who is concerned about sports for many years, loves football and is also interested in sports like volleyball, basketball, handball, tennis.

Cemal Metin Bulutoğluları is married with two children. He Speaks fluent English.
