On the occassion of the 14th of May, the World Pharmacists Day,  the Mayor of the Nicosia Turkish Municipality Cemal Bulutoğluları accepted the Head of the Union of  the Cyprus Turkish Pharmacists Fatma Azgın and the accompanying committee on 14th of May, 2010.

Bulutoğluları: “My support to the Union of  the Cyprus Turkish Pharmacists will continue”

The Mayor of the NTM Cemal Bulutoğluları celebrated the 14th of May Pharmacist Day of the pharmacists and stated that pharmacy is a hard job which requires self-sacrificing. Bulutoğluları denoted that he is paying great importance to the pharmacists and within this context, Bulutoğluları also stated that in order to provide the safety of the pharmacists who are on duty at nights, the number of patrolling municipal polices has increased.

Explaining that they are aiming to provide the citizens short-period park opportunity by putting “urgent parking” signboard in front of the pharmacies where parking problems occur often, Bulutoğluları, indicated that some works related to the electronic signboards which will inform the citizens about pharmacies on duty and which will be hanged up to important points of the city, have been started. Bulutoğluları added that they will continue to support the Union of  the Cyprus Turkish Pharmacists.

Azgın: “Digital signboards will be a sample for the other municipalities”

 The Chairman of the Association of Pharmacists made a speech and stated that the most active city in terms of pharmacy is Nicosia in T.R.N.C and they visited the Mayor Bulutoğluları to express the demands and expectations of the association.

Azgın stated that the activities and the road excavations which are taking place in the city, effects the works of the pharmacies, and she emphasized that the pharmacies on duty at that area should be checked on the day of the road excavations. Azgın continued saying that the Mayor Bulutoğluları promised to put digital boards in different parts of the city giving the name of the pharmacies on duty and in the case of the implementation of the boards, this will be a sample for the other municipalities.
