As a result of the market inspections of the Nicosia Turkish Municipality Municipal Police Department,  89 breads, lacking necessary amounts of ingredients and labels, were confiscated.Produced suitable to the health conditions, the breads, which were confiscated at the inspections in various markets of Nicosia, were granted to SOS Children’s Village.The Mayor of the NTM, Cemal Bulutoğluları, stated that they will never tolerate people who profit from selling bread which lacks the right amounts of ingredients meaning stealing the bread of the public. He also added that that the bread inspections of the Municipal Police will continue regularly.
