The Nicosia Turkish Municipality (NTM) Cleaning Department teams continue their intensive works within the boundaries of the municipality. The works that the NTM Cleaning Department teams have started within the framework of “the NTM Intensive Service Campaign” recently are about to be finished. After the works of the NTM Cleaning Department teams, hays near the road and garbages, hays and rubbles in open spaces in Küçük Kaymaklı are cleaned and fire danger is removed as well as fly problems. The head of the Cleaning Department, Serkan Önet denoted that the cleaning works of main and sub roads of the east side of Mustafa Ruso Avenue are completed at the end. The region became ready for the summer and also he connoted that the works of west side of Mustafa Ruso Avenue are nearly completed. Önet described that the works are continuing on the other regions within the boundaries of NTM. The works are completed in Göçmenköy region and the works in Taşkınköy region will be completed within 3- 4 days. Saying that Metehan and surrounding areas which have fire risk, the government social houses district and empty lands were cleaned, Önet connoted that the cleaning works for the lands of children of the martyr have also been started. Önet added that, next week they will start the cleaning works for Marmara and Ortaköy area, after these areas will be finished, they will continue with Kızılbaş, Gelibolu, and Dumlupınar. Önet denoted that the cleaning works of all the districts within the boundaries of NTM, including Hamitköy and Haspolat, will be finished before the local elections on 27th of June, so there will not be any problem in the summer. |
