The basketball courses have started last week at the Ataturk Sport Saloon within the framework of the project “Children and Youth Come First” which is  prepared and implemented by the Nicosia Turkish Municipality (NTM). 

Within the framework of the project which is financed by the European Union, the first event is generated with the support of the Basketball Federation and with the participation of the primary school students for Basketball activity. The children were excited in this first training which will be done twice a week for girls on Tuesdays and for boys on Thursdays. In this project, which aims to make children more social individuals and provide them to participate sport activities; theatre, music and folk dance trainings will also be organized besides the sport activities.
