The feeder water of Nicosia is clean. After the flood disaster, firstly in the affected areas in Nicosia and also in other areas, the Nicosia Turkish Municipality has implemented a microbiological city feeder water analysis. The head of the Permit and Inspection Department of the Nicosia Turkish Municipality, Levent Özverel stated that there is no problem about the consuming of the city feeder water as “drinking and potable water”  in Marmara District streets of 20., 21.,22., and 23. and in Göçmenköy Tünay Cevdet Street, Yaman Bey Street, Muzaffer Selim Street and Özkan Mustafa Street and also in districts of Yenişehir, Küçükkaymaklı, Ortaköy and Dumlupınar.özverel connoted that, aiming the microbiological analysis of the city feeder water, water samples was taken from the various districts of Nicosia, especially from the areas which were effected by the  flood disaster and any microbiologic problem was not detected in all these samples. Therefore, it is approved by the state laboratory report that there is no problem about consuming these water.  Also, Özverel added that due to the clean results of the analysis, citizens should not panic about the infectious disease.
