The Mayor of Nicosia Turkish Municipality, Cemal Bulutoğluları, hosted the President of the T.R.N.C. Disabled Sport Federation, Günay Kibrit and the Captain of  NTM Wheelchair Basketball Team, Emrullah Moyuncu on Thursday, 17 April.

At his visit, Kibrit informed The Mayor of Nicosia Turkish Municipality Cemal Bulutoğluları about their matches at European Wheelchair Basketball pre-selection round that took place in Spain between 7-9 March.

Kibrit highlighted that they had their success with the contributions of NTM. He said that they will attend the finals and compete against 8 European Teams in Tuzla, Bosnia Herzegovina, between 24-28 April.

Saying that their tickets for Spain journey were provided by North Cyprus Turkcell, team uniforms were by the Civil Defence Organization and their accomodations by the Sports Department, Kibrit thanked these organizations for their contribution.

Kibrit denoted that, they will be representing T.R.N.C. on behalf of NTM and said: ‘We will represent NTM as a club in Bosnia Herzegovina. Our group consists of Bosnia Herzegovina, Italy and Spain.’

The Mayor of Nicosia Turkish Municipality, Cemal Bulutoğluları, congratulated NTM Wheelchair Baketball Team for their success until today, by saying: “I would like to congratulate you on representing NTM in Europe and  becoming one of the 8 teams to attend finals. I am proud of you. I wish to support you at the matches in the future and wish to be the source of motivation for you in matches that will take place in important cities of Europe. We will continue our financial support to your federation as we always do.’’
