The European Services for Senior Citizens Unit of Nicosia Turkish Municipality (NTM), provided blankets, carpets, and cleaning materials to the needy senior citizens who are members of their units and who were affected from the water flood.  Hasan Aybar, the head of NTM European Services for Senior Citizens said that, their unit has been with the citizens who were affected from the water flood. He also mentioned that they implemented aid work in Göçmenköy,Marmara and Taşkınköy.

Aybar described that the needy members of the European Services to Senior Citizens unit are determined and said that according to the result of the works, blankets, carpets and cleaning equipments are delivered to the citizens in need. Aybar also denoted that he is deeply grieved because of the floods and he wished that such disasters will not happen again.
